PERSONAL LEAVE CASH OUT OPTION

It's that time of year when you may have the opportunity to cash out your unused personal leave balance. Please use Skyward Employee Access to check your personal leave balance. Remember that you may have taken or requested personal days in the future that have not been recorded in your leave history yet.

Your bargaining agreement dictates how many days you may cash out or roll.  Please click on this link to the HR Blog Find a Form page to access the form for your union group. The form will tell you what restrictions you may have based on your union agreement.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to email Cyndi Barbur or Becky Friedrich.

PAPERLESS DIRECT DEPOSIT SLIPS

“It’s not enough to prepare our children for the future… We must prepare the future for our children.”       Jill Buck, founder of the Go Green Initiative .

A big
THANK YOU!!
 to those
 of you
 who have already
opted out
 of a
printed
 deposit slip!!

As part of our "GO GREEN” campaign, we are once again asking WSD staff to choose a paperless direct deposit slip. By doing so, you can help do your part to help to reduce impact on forests, cut energy use and climate change emissions, limit water, air and other pollution and produce less waste!

To put this in perspective; if all WSD staff were to go paperless, we could be saving approximately 6,600 pieces of paper every year!  Not to mention the ink and manpower it takes to process them every month.

If you are not already familiar with Employee Access, right now is a great time of year to get assistance from your HR Department on how to find your direct deposit and payroll information online.
